look for wilkes centrals jvs they are looking good with alot of returning starters as in calvin shoemaeker, cameron williams.joey hicks. storm lipford and hank privette

On the JV team they are going to be hard to beat,all the players from the middle school moved up and they were awesome last year & they have LJ has a quater back ,look out North JV is looking awesome...

Yep it really does, my dad helped Starmount for 15 years...and still trys to never miss a game.

The 08-09 team was really good, I went to the fourth round game and was so hoping they would win. I'm going to hope Starmount does great this year and maybe finally make it to State again. GATA

Yes Emmy, I was asking you. My son has played for the last 4 years. The '07/08 team was so-so. 08/09 team was undefeated in conference and made it to the final four. The 09/10 team was undefeated in conference but did not do so well in playoffs. This year is looking really good for the Rams. Orange and Blue gets in your blood.

If North isn't any better than what they have been the past years, then I would say in the county they'll be 4th.

Well if your talking to me, nothing. I helped in football my freshman year and i just liked the team. They almost made it to state again, it would just be nice regardless if Starmount could make it back to state.

ive watched central practice they have alot of talent on both varsity and jv varsity looks good all around but there jv dont have a good line byt everywhere else seems solid

wilkes central is no doubt a step above all the other county teams. that being said, starmount and elkin will battle for 1st and 2nd and wilkes central coming in third

I think North will suprise a lot of people this year.... QB Corey Huffman has some good recievers to throw to including Rusty Bell and Zach Shumate and a good line....they also have a good RB in Matthew Shepherd....on Defense the whole line especially Evan Handy and at linebacker they have three threats in Matthew Jennings, Dustin Rhoades, and Dustin Wingler

look if you take trea away from wilkes central who is going to step up and still produce the same stats every game? nobody can do that every game. maybe a few but not every one.
