I agree with you Fins, much like Reagan is not the person conservatives portray him as. Reagan couldn't win the GOP nominee today anymore than FDR or JFK could win the Democrat nominee. (Reagan is largely to moderate for today's GOP, and FDR and JFK are far to conservative for the Democrats).

Trump is not the man he's been portrayed to be by the media. He's also not the man that the right has hoped/wished he is. He much more personal than what the media has portrayed him to be, and he is much more central and/or left than the right who voted for him has hoped.

I think it shows what I've said many times before that Trump is not the man the media has portrayed him as. I do hope he is able to do good for our nation and most if not all Americans. To wish otherwise would be to wish our own failure. I have long said many of the things he promised in his campaign would never be, because Congress would never pass or fund them.

I hope he continues to show forth even temperament, that people stop listening to those that seek to divide us and seek to work with the new President Elect as he builds his team and moves to govern our nation in less than 2 months.
