While the Mountain Times has posted some new content I do not see the article being referenced as the topic of this thread. Does wife have any additional information regarding the content of the article, what bothers her about any statements made in the article?

Ashe don't realty have a "news" paper. They have a couple of gossip postings and that's about it.. Now as for the drone, sounds like some great target practice for some of the good ole boys...LoL

Hiker, it is more than the third time it has been suggested. I did it at least twice also. She is just upset that when she took her crayons and traced the word from the interview, she didn't catch the misuse of the word.

No, I'm not his wife. For the third time could this have been a typo by the paper?

Wifey, call the mountain tlmes and tell them to put a box in front of the liquor store. I might bother to pick one up then. I wouldn't bother with picking up a copy of the Post if they stapled $5 bills on the front page

Nothing is wrong with the drone purchase. Better to practice and evaluate with a cheaper version. As the attributes of a Sheriff, I will simply submit that there is probably a good reason the Sheriff is elected and does not have to have had any prior Law Enforcement experience. The Sheriff is an administrator. He direct and oversees his Deputies. They work at his will. Those who he/she feels do not measure up, are terminated. Personally, I feel they should have prior law enforcement experience though. They are not expected nor are they required to do patrol work or investigative work. Usually when they do, they know that a newspaper reporter or TV news crew is lurking nearby. Or an election is coming up. That is what you call smart politics. The Sheriff's main duty outside of the office is to mingle with the people, business owners etc. And be approachable. Some people are suited for that better than others. I am well satisfied with Sheriff Williams. Plus, he has many years of prior LEO experience to boot. Some people are better suited to do volunteer work and get down in the trenches for actually doing the heavy manual work at accident scenes etc. Looks as if that is how things turned out. Looks good to me.

I couldn't remember if it was Gomer or Goober up on the roof with the light bulbs. He dropped his gun a few times.

I read the article. I couldn't find anything wrong in it. They bought a $300 drone to experiment with.

And you still haven't said one thing about what is in the article. Like I said, you failed reading and writing comprehension.

Oh and Coop, you forgot to include Gomer.

Cooperfarms you say you know me well. I find that interesting since I don't know you. That's right, you all hide behind a username.

My husband didn't start the article and you clearly failed life.

The topic of this thread is not sour grapes. It is a topic that is based on an article printed in the local paper. I just happen to be the one who started it. If I wasnt the wife of the candidate that ran against your re-elected sheriff you would be running you mouth. You need to let it go. Its about the article not my husband.

Your husband clearly has an ego problem and is looking for a power trip to try to compensate for his issues. A hero complex.

And you clearly failed reading and writing comprehension.

Yes fins your right it was definitely a far reach to expect that you and your people read the paper. You are probably the leader of the gang.
