Ashe Animal Hospital - Sucks!

If the police aren't showing up, there's a good chance monitoring has been discontinued. You wouldn't believe how many people cheap out and drop their service when contracts are up. And if they did, the system is still going to call the monitoring company it was last programmed to call. So in a fire, they may still call the fire department for their own risk. Not sure. I've sort of heard conflicting answers on this before.

I wouldn't think they would discontinue monitring. There are too many fools out there who might be interested in some of the pharmaceuticals in house....Plus liability concerns if there's a fire and animals are kenneled there.

They may have even stopped monitoring the system. They still know the next morning they had an alarm unless the cops just happened to come by or a neighbor called in and they were called in the middle of the night.

Alarms are tied to monitoring stations. Then when the alarm goes off, the monitoring station calls the police or fire department. It's illegal for an alarm company to send their calls straight into the police department or sheriff's office. The employees monitoring the systems have to have background checks and be bonded. I know one alarm company that got in big trouble by convincing a PD to let him put an alarm server in their dispatch office to monitor his customers. He was billing his customers $20 a month and the PD charged him nothing.

I would think that the alarm would be tied into local law enforcement and/ or fire responders and they usually take a dim view of multiple false alarms.

Let's first get to an important point. How long has this been happening? 3 nights? A week? 6 months?

1. Get the owners phone number
2. Go to the sheriffs office
3. Go in a tell them you lost your keys and you need to call your spouse to bring the spare
4. Use their phone and dial the owner
5. Tell him the next time his alarm goes off at night it will be a $500 fine
6. Thank them for letting you use their phone.

Ashe animal hospital is in a business district. There is noise in a business district. Sue the town for allowing residential to be built in a business district.

Mail them a registered letter w/ return receipt documenting your complaints and the harm they are causing you. Tell them that if they do not fix the problem in 10 days you will bring a civil action against them. If they do not cure the situation call a lawyer and file suit. When all your neighbors hear about it and start joining your suit, they will fix it for sure.

I talked to a friend that lives in Jefferson Square apartments and she is just about at the end of her rope with the noise from Ashe Animal Hospital.

Can't say I blame her for feeling that way. She has to get up at 6:00 am to go to work - without a nights rest, I'd be a little PO'd too.

If the Ashe Animal Hospital doesnt care any more about the residents & their well being -I certainly won't be taking my animal's to them for treatment. Gee, If they don't care about people & their health then they sure as hill, don't give a bamn about pets!

And, No - I wouldnt take my Cherokee Devil to them either!

Maybe the alarms are the only thing that has keep the Cherokee Devil away! Did you ever think off that?

Every night, Ashe Animal Hospitals alarm goes off, waking up the community. They know about it but don't do anything. I guess, if someone broke into the stupid place they could rest assured that law enforcement will ignore the call as it goes off 3-4 times a night. No law enforcement checks it out. Kind of like the boy who cried wolf to many times...
