This is just another example of the team building and coping skills which FINS finds so helpful with High School athletics.

Locker room antics. They are all guilty of mischievous behavior - they are teenagers.

Who is the kid?

I'm proud of the boy, he had balls enough to do and man enough to stand up for himself in the aftermath. Reminds me of the dog of young.

It's quite funny. An athlete acts just like the type of alpha male that a competitor should be, and y'all Re crying. Folks, this is what athletes do.

Could maybe work as a medic somewhere irrigating wounds etc. Or maybe could start a business where he could visit the graves of ex wives/husbands and other annoying people who have done wrong by us. Heck, I could keep him busy for weeks right now but he would have to travel.

Secret you are correct, if this behavior did in fact occur, the Coach was rewarding behavior which will be needed if the kid has any talent.

Scholarship in most cases never enters into any athletic achievement recognition. And we all have read of the achievements of professional athletes and their social skills. So, pithing on other people certainly deserves to be rewarded as lessons learned have been applied as taught and expected. I don't see a problem with the award.

Top, how do you know this to be true? You have started an interesting thread but it seems a little short on facts and proof.

What are the criteria for the award? If behavior and scholarship are not part of the award criteria, what's your beef?

If your allegation is true, this speaks much more loudly about the Coach, the Athletic Director and the Principal than about the student.

Not even close to the same thing online.

Disrespect is all you can make of this!! If someone slapped your face would that make you happy and would you still think its funny? Same difference, slap-em or urinate on-em!! Guess you could call it southern justice.

Contrary to popular belief, urine is sterile when leaving the body. There are some exceptions of course, but urinating on battlefield surgical instruments between patients is far better than using creek water. Also, urinating on a superficial burn really does alleviate the pain.

And, I too think it's funny as ell.

It's to be expected in Ashe County

A good way to treat Athlete's Foot. And if that is the greatest thing of significance that any player achieved all season, then he certainly deserved the recognition and the award. Keep up the good work guys.
