I was in Mcds in Ashe about a year ago and I swear I think I saw plaques on the wall that said voted best restaurant in Ashe County

I didn't mean to sound excited about it I just noticed it was back open.

I don't eat at Burger King much myself. I prefer Hardee's burgers if eating out.

But yes for about the price of a combo meal you could make multiple ones at home.

I keep hearing how Ashe County can't afford this or that. It's a lot cheaper to buy the ingredients from a store and make it at home yourself. But, today's society encourages laziness, so three cheers for Burger Crap and the rest of the garbage fast food joints that are beyond successful here.

Jr, no one is disputing that sustainability for pricier places is a problem in Ashe. But that's still no excuse for lack of taste. Getting excited over fast food is just sad.

It's not so much that Ashe county wouldn't perhaps like finer dining places, it's the fact the county can't afford them.

Keep in mind a fifth of the population lives under poverty. You probably only have a fifth that could afford to eat at a fine dining restaurant and even if they ate at the same one at least once a week it couldn't keep it in business due to high rent of the area.

I have a friend that is a unit supervisor for BK in Florida and he said they no longer use the conveyor char broiler, the new system is switchable for either whopper or whopper junior by cook time and if a retard cook either puts the switch on the wrong setting, or over loads the cooker with too many burger patties or turns the cooking temperature down then the burger will be under cooked. here is a video of what they are using

Why would anyone want to go to Burger King anyway when you can dine across the street at Hardee's and get dinner and a show.

I will say I don't see how one of their burgers could be undercooked because they are loaded on a conveyor at one end of the oven and can't be removed until they come out the other end. But, if there's a way to screw that up, I'm sure fast food workers can

Other than remodeling nothing else has changed there. I have been there only one time and that was because the group I was with wanted to go try it, this was on a Sunday evening two of weeks ago.
I would think that the new opening bugs should have been worked out by now but not when most of the employees are retards, rejects and dope heads. It took 3 tries to get a whopper with no cheese or just cooked period. the bug eyed kid working the register ask when I placed the order if I wanted to add cheese and I told him NO CHEESE how hard is it to push a button on the register?

When I took the sandwich back up to get it fixed the female manager got pissed off. she had the cook make another. This time the meat was cold and pink inside from not being cooked long enough, I took it back up and she gets all pissy again and says I know it was cooked because its cooked on a timer and there is nothing wrong with it, I had to tell her I wanted another sandwich to get it, now at the same time there is a drive thru customer now in the building complaining about her sandwich not being right. saying that it was a reoccurring problem. She got the same treatment from the female manager that I got. This witch (manager) needs to be sent down the road!

When you take the job as a manager at any business act like one! I will never step foot in this Burger King again and talking about Bojangles, well its not any better than BK ! Close them Both!

Trust me, the quality of the the food, be it the Whooper or Whopper won't matter in this community. The Ashe County palate has proven this time and again.

It is called autocorrect and I'm sure it wouldn't have mattered. It was nasty!

That was the problem hikingmom, you ordered the Whooper instead of the Whopper...

Your life must be very sad to get excited over the opening of a fast food establishment. Especially Burger King

I've only been there once and it was right after they opened. The Whooper I had definitely did not taste like a Whooper. I have heard several others say their food was disgusting. If the owner lets it been ran like his Bojangles then oh well it probably will not last much longer. That is just my opinion. To each their own I suppose.
