They will have to pay off there major debts before they open back up. They had a silent partner I hear that stole the money that was meant to pay the bills so now they are broke and in debt to the creditors. I really hate it for Edwards but Pruitt has always been a crook like the silent partner evidently is. I had major concern the minute I heard that Edwards was going in to business with Pruitt.

I guess you could call it remodeling. They are going to open back up under a different style from what I heard. Maybe a family style buffet type place.

Don't know if it's true or not but 2 different people about 2 months ago told me that Allen lost everything he had and had some company to auction off some of his personal & business stuff. Also, if I'm not mistaking, his tanning business in Millers Creek has a different name. Don't know if it's still his or someone else. LIke I said I don't know if its true or not. This may be the reason why it closed.

Running a restaurant takes some more skill than renting some DVDs and spraying a tanning bed with sanitizer

He should let someone come in and show him how to get good food, advertise the joint and make a go of it. Obviously he doesn't have a clue.

As long as he spent remodeling it to be a home theater showroom, then mid stream changed to a restaurant, I hate to see how long he will take if he were to remodel. And in the middle of it, he would probably change his mind and make it a yarn store.

I thought that was why the car guy was forced out.

There's more to the story, not all of the revenue made it to the bank so I've been told.

Yea I can understand that. I ate there a few times and the food was really good. Atmosphere was great too, I figured it would last, especially with the one owner leaving.

not enough business to cover expenses and give the owners enough to live on. Many will say that the food and service were so poor that they did not attract enough folks to make it work.

Food service is a tough industry, razor thin margins and the need to have deep pockets and a willingness to sustain some big losses initially to make it work. Not sure that the owner/developer was up for what it took to be successful.
