Dear Basking, This is my first time on this site so sorry I did not reply to your comment. Not sure whether your question was genuine or not. How far are you willing to go could mean several things. Distance wise I prefer to stay in Ashe County. Thanks for all the help to all that gave suggestions. I will follow up on them.

If you are going to go that far, Blowing Rock Assembly Grounds. They have rooms (I believe technically it's a hostel) meeting areas, and dining area. Or at least they used to. It's been years since I attended anything there

Something I really hate though, someone ask for help, and you try to help them but they won't answer any questions you have that could make a difference. And people wonder why they end up getting smart *** answers

How far you willing to go for it?

I am looking for a location for September 18 & 19, 2015 to hold a Ladies Spiritual Retreat for about 40-50 ladies. Need a room for conference with power point and place for at least 6-10 ladies to sleep. Would be nice to have someone to help cater meals.
