But the first gas from that bypass will not reach Friendship/Greensboro until about the middle of next week. Some of the fuel being delivered is coming from Wilmington where they are bringing it in on barges and tankers

Murphy's has 87 octane only. Quality is out as of 7:30 this morning

jrscott, yeah I ventured out about 2 pm today. Bags were on the pumps at the corner. Out of GAS..

jr ... this site is the media. Local media outlets monitor this site. If there is something newsworthy, it's reported on. The media's job is not to scare people, it's to inform people about what is going on.

I'm good for a few more days, hopefully by then things return to normal.
The media makes people panic, they then run out and buy whatever the media says is in short supply, which in turn causes a shortage and then drives up prices....happens with milk and bread when a storm's a coming and with gas when anything disrupts it.
As for the Corner, that's not a bad idea to do a 20 dollar limit, they had bags on the pump handles when I did my laundry an hour ago usually that's a sign that they are out but I didn't go read closely so maybe that's just for the limit.

Wilco was still pumping at 2pm today. Mikes Corner market has a $20.00 limit and only 87 octane.

The QP across from McDonalds still has 87 but is out of the other grades. Wal-Mart ran out about an 45 minutes ago and I heard the Wilco ran out last night.

My vehicles are diesel. No problem finding diesel and the price hasn't been gouged up either.

Around 4PM Ingles only had premium and QP still had regular at that time. The Corner and Amoco both only have premium from what I've been told.
