The one right under your post you would be correct. The rest of us you would be incorrect.

My guess is most of you wimps don't pay enough taxes to make this a legitimate topic.

I think that in order for the county to have recovered attorney fees an actual judgement would have had to have been handed down.

I have not doubt that the county paid for the defense of its employees, as they should, I was just wondering, since there was a dismissal, if the defendants had standing to request a judgement to recover the cost of defense.

The sovereign citizen crowd loves to use the courts to bury the government and financial institutions under and avalanche of motions and filings. If there was a way for the defendants to recover some of the expense for defending against frivolous actions it might slow them down a little.

Onlyin, I think you will find that we paid the costs to defend our employees from this frivolity. It was our tax money that was used. It was right to do it, they are our employees doing their jobs. I don't begrudge them the defense but I do resent this fool Price and his childish ill conceived antics wasting our time and money.

Since he lost, could the defendants file a motion to recover costs?

Or a good public whipping.

dbcooper

That would work too. He just never really had a good sit down talking too.

Well, the other option is some old fashioned neighborly talking to where a group of the community goes to see him and explains that he needs to straighten up or leave town

This thinks he is being smart by tweaking the tiger's tail. It costs us money because he is actually suing us. And he'll keep doing it. And he'll keep losing each case.

In December we get rid of him for free.

If it will end up getting rid of this fool, let's just eat the check and not worry about it

Posted 7:13 pm, 07/23/2014

My question is how much did gerry cost us tax payers to defend the county and employees against his frivolous suit?
