Even if they answered incorrectly, it doesn't conclude why. The survey found that athletes typically get better jobs. And with that, some made the obvious leap that A must be the cause of B. However, no research has been put into finding out the why. Just because A and B are true, doesn't mean that A caused B. No one has asked is the reason because these individuals are just naturally competitive and no matter what would try to get to the top. Nothing has so far proved that the Athletics is the why.

This study was done by sending out questionnaires and not face to face interviews. People will say anything on a questionnaire.. Try again opie.
