Sorry that you think the truth is funny. But accept that cops don't have a dangerous job

Niether, I am a fellow slum lord like you! Just a small business man.

Vet which club do you fall into, hose jockeys or barneys?

Nice Try, but funny!

Law enforcement started trying to include injuries to make themselves look more important. But the reality is when you look at the types and causes of injuries, most of their injuries are back problems from sitting too much.

When both death AND injury are used, Barneys and Hose Jockeys are in the top five. Check out the labor dept. stats on death and injury.

How is it so many people know so much about the prize hog case yet they offer nothing to back up what they say. Has the sheriff department, sbi, da been leaking information or are these people just doing some wishful thinking?

Except that no one tells truck drivers when they start that their job is more dangerous than the military or a cop.

That's my same opinion on the military...

I have to agree with underdog about the pay, both teachers and cops know what they are getting into and the pay scale for the job before hand, its not like someone forced either of them to take the job.

The moral of the story, Don't whine and cry about the pay and job conditions after you sign up for one of these jobs!

When has the Post ever come across as anti-police?

And reading about the story on the fund page brought up a question that I don't think has ever been answered. How does someone get dragged by a vehicle unless they did something stupid by getting too aggressive and getting themself stuck on the vehicle? Why would someone try reaching through the window of a running vehicle unless they are a moron?

I love the quote toward the end of the article about media bias with cops.

While you are at it, could you list how many officer related shootings ever took place before Hippo was hired?

With such a dangerous job, the ASD must be loosing at least 2 or 3 deputies a month. Jabo, how many deputies were killed in the line of duty last year? Would it be easier if you just give a total number for how many Ashe deputies have been killed in duty, ever?

Jabo you sound like a school teacher whining about how hard they work, how many hours they work, how low their pay is. A barney is paid low wages because they only have a high school education and they dont care how much they get paid as long as they have a badge and a gun and then let their ego's go to their heads. Their jobs are not even in the top ten most dangerous jobs.
