Every single civil engineer that ever looked at the border said it would not be feasible to even consider building any type of physical barrier the entire length of the border. Not a wall, not a fence, not a moat. Not even a combination of all three. All of which have been suggested by politicians off and on for a hundred years.

They've talked about a wall for over 30 years back since the Reagan administration. Congress to date has never funded a full wall, and my guess is they never will. I wouldn't be surprised if other recommendations like more border security troops etc take the place of that wall. You could move a division of the Army to the border and support it with a drone wing from the Air Force and probably do better than the wall.

I could be surprised and Congress actually fund it, but I doubt it.

Wall payments could be deducted from humanitarian aid payments, or trade development payments or a host of other "gifts" we hand out to Mexico. Budget neutral at that point.

And some people think our own government blew up the World Trade Center. People are stupid.

Putin might could manipulate Trump and trick Trump to do what he wants. By Trump's ego is too big to straight up take marching orders from anyone.

A lot of people are thinking that when Trump's daughter Ivanka met Putin's girlfriend Wendi Deng in Croatia this summer, the purpose was not two friends meeting on vacation. The purpose was for Ivanka to pick up instructions for Trump from Putin.

He says we will pay for it and Mexico will pay us back. If he is so sure off this, I think he should personally pay for it and let Mexico pay him back.
