I guess those hard working teachers will have to go back to work tomorrow.

Yogi as you have very well noticed I have let you skate on the "teacher" bashing.

That's not setting a real high standard

Of course, the remedial kids where I taught were equal to, if not smarter than, the valedictorians from Ashe County.

Keep telling yourself that so you won't feel bad that they only gave you the remedial kids to teach

The administration always asks the teachers which kids aren't quite normal and don't fit in with everyone else. These students are at a much higher risk of getting abused by their peers and they are moved into the advanced classes where they are made to believe that their studies are more involved than the others. It's all a myth and only fulfills state paperwork expectations.

Dog, you really opened yourself up to a fine opportunity for me to make a flute joke or two, but I like you and will let you skate this time.

I was in band. We scored superior, so I am superior to the teachers.

As a former educator, I feel superior to most of you. My guess is the majority of the contributors to this site were those kids that fell through the cracks and got severely left behind.

If He could have been replaced on the spot at any time, he's unimportant.

No position is unimportant. That's a bit arrogant of you. If the workers fail to come in you don't make your quotas.

My grandfather ran the Hanes plant for years. We lived with them for some of those years. I don't remember him bringing work home and he was hardly unimportant. He would stay late to finish his work sometimes but he as far as I remember never brought any home.

This is what part of the problem with this country is today school officials who ban the American flag because it might offend someone. I say if the American flag offends you take you POS @$$ back to what ever country you came from.

JR, you didn't take work home, but I bet you the white collars running the factory, who probably regularly put in 12 to 14 hour days at the same pay as if they worked 6 hours, did take work home with them. You were an unimportant drone. Don't try to compare that to a professional position.
