Coop, I've found a lot of people are upset at Williams over the infamous TV show. But most of them say they dislike Winters even more. I'll be surprised if you are off by more than 2 points

I remove a few posts that were off topic and/or trolling.

No they weren't. The only posts removed were the ones from a few people having an off topic argument, and a few libelous posts targeted towards "Tim Winters".

Most of the posts asking the questions that needed to asked were removed.

Well Tim, now that you have made an appearance on GoAshe would you care to elaborate on why the voters should elect you? What are some of the issues you are looking to tackle in the county, and how do you plan on handling them?

Pointman is on the money once more. As we have said all along for several years, voting for someone because of what party they belong to is just short sighted ignorance. I tend to following the Republican way of thinking (never ever the Tea Party whackos though) but I never have voted for anyone that I didn't feel was the better or best of the choices available. I have been a Williams supporter and remain so. Because he is by far the better choice.

Seeing all this junk on here convinced me as to how I should vote......Williams got my vote yesterday. These idiots did Winters no favors and I hope Williams gets another term.

Coop, you are indeed correct that straight ticket voting by just making one mark is no longer possible. Perhaps I should have made myself more clear......there will be many people who will vote for one particular party's candidates and not cross over to vote for an opposing party" candidate.

Those voting all republican will then vote for Winters.

Straight ticket voting in North Carolina is a thing of the past as of last year. No longer offered on the ballot

I personally would not count Tim completely out.. It's the voters choice and who knows a majority could be ready for a change....Than change being Mr. Winters!!!

Tammy, you are just making things worse for your husband. Your math is wrong, and so is your vision of your husband being anything other than what he is right now. Just let it go, along with his pipe dreams of fame.

You have done the injustice of padding your husband's resume and got caught. Winters will get some votes, mostly from republician straight ticket voters, but the results will be pitifully short.
