NC does not have a recall option. So the only option is to sue an elected official in court for their failure in performance, or for being an illegal elected official. Price is an illegal elected official since he denounced his citizenship. But unless the AG gets involved, a citizen must challenge him in court.

Once elected, the clerk is not answerable to ANYBODY! Yes, we can vote him or her out after 4 years but look what has happened with Price and he's STILL there! The clerk has had little or no opposition for years so even if the clerk didn't suit the public, there would be nothing they could do.
Aren't the town police chiefs hired by the board of aldermen? So what would be the difference in the county commissioners posting the job and hiring the most qualified applicant?
There has been a lot of what borders on corruption at the Ashe County cthouse for years. I knew people that worked in the court system and have heard plenty of what went on. Some of it was common knowledge but nobody did anything about it. I don't think the clerk of court should be elected. Same thing with the Sheriff. Sometimes you might end up with a funeral director or a used car dealer in office that don't know sh*t from shinola about the job.
You were not in court, your property was sold on the court house steps, you had 10 days to pay up or who ever bid it off and was not upset now owns your farm. Has a trustees deed been recorded yet? You should find it for sale on the banks web site soon.

On March 11th, 2014 while under appeal to Superior Court, with bond posted with the Clerk of Superior Court, my farm was sold at the "Court House Door" based on statements by attorneys Daniel Bruton and repeated by Elizabeth Repetti who represent Lifestore Bank that I, the owner, had waived my right to appeal in open court. This is a denial of "due process" and appears to me to be a conflict of interest for the Clerk, the attorneys and all involved. It is a good thing that a court record is kept and that my trustee was in the courtroom that day along with two other witnesses, my administrative assistant and my attorney Greg Luck. The conspiracy widens and this should give you an idea of what lengths Lifestore Bank and its agents will go to steal from the public.
Complaints to the B.A.R. association are forthcoming. It is starting to appear that the Racketeering and Unfair and Deceptive Business Practices Cause of Action in The Complaint filed against Lifestore Bank is Expanding.
FYI: The initials that comprise the term B.A. R. as in Bar Association (BAR is an Acronym) the acronym stands for B = British, A = Accredited, R = Registry. When an attorney passes the BAR they are given the title, ESQUIRE. This title is given by the CROWN, a foreign power. Attorneys are under the obligation to the Crown not you. This is the organization that is in large part responsible for the Destruction of OUR CONSTITUTION and hopefully one day will be tried for TREASON. An Attorney to my understanding cannot practice law without a BAR number and this means pledging allegiance to a foreign power.
