Low flying military planes

The government doesn't use the military for psyops against it's own citizens ;)

Instead they use militarized departments like the raid in Chicken, Alaska by the EPA or they use media like Project Mockingbird.

Are you old enough to have a night with the dog?

You ridicule me because of my question. Isn't that intolerance?

Are you 12?

Oh ... and while you got me started ... if a unit is running psyops, it happens more than a couple of times a year. It's constant and unrelenting ... you know, kind of like how most people here think of you as mentally inferior.

War against ISIS, which we have gladly let in, or a psyop so our stupid citizens get used to military control? After our Dear Leader talked of a civilian army, and knowing that martial law is his ideal, people questioning this is not stupid.

Psyop? Military control? FINS is right ... calling you an idiot is an insult to idiots. Believe me when I say the military has more important things to deal with than psyops on the mountain folk of Ashe County.

I would rather not board a plane with a Rookie Pilot.

Phyllis B, you do realize training in the military takes place at all times, not just during times of war? This isn't just ISIS related. I've lived here my whole entire life and don't recall a spring that the military planes were not present.

I previously gave you too much credit by calling you an idiot.

There is a squadron of C-130's that fly over the mountains of NW NC on regular training exercises. The planes are the Air National Guard Unit T Charlotte Douglas airport. There was an article about these flights around the time of the Superbowl, and the flights. They will really startle you on these low level flights.

I always have thought of the jets return as the beginning of spring here in Ashe. It is a sound I've enjoyed since I was a small child. Them flying low doesn't bother me because you get a better look at them.

The military has used the mountainous terrain in around Ashe County to practice low level terrain avoidance for all size aircraft. When they were operational testing the C-17 cargo plan out of Charleston SC, they flew low level terrain missions all over Ashe, had one of those jumbo's pop over a ridge headed south towards the New River in Nathans Creek area one Saturday morning and surprised me quite a bit because when they are headed towards you they are very very quiet.

Over the years I've seen the above mentioned C-17's, C-130's A-10's V-22's F-16's F-18s and now F22's flying in Ashe County skies. Neat stuff.

I think its great that Ashe has been chosen for those types of exercises, if it prepares our aviators for service while in harms way then more power to them.

If it is a F-22 it's out of Langley
If it is a F-15 it's out of Seymour Johnson

Around 12:30 one plane flew right over Westwood Elementary, too low for my liking, like it was going to crash into the trees. The kids say it sounded like thunder. Also, it looks like an F-22 - like a black flying bat, definitely a top fighter jet. I saw others later on this evening, 2 flying together. No, I don't like them because we don't know what's going on. If anyone has a clue, please let us know.

They have been flying over the county for years. Music to my ears.
