The voting demographics may have changed since the bonds. Remember that sales tax passed. But the voters were duped to think it would be for the hospital for years to come but it was only for 3 years. Remember that 500K extra they get each year in sales taxes.

You are exactly right about the money they poured in that dam snake pit of a landing strip. Its makes me sick to my stomach each time its brought up.

Just think, all the money they have sunk into that airport could have built a new school. At least kept us from going into debt for several years.

I'm sure Phyllis is telling everyone exactly what they want to hear, or at least the bare minimum that people need to know. Her and Charlie, Polly, and Terry were all in the county during the failed bonds. I'm sure they are very careful how much information they give out.

Bryan the county already has a landing strip. Right across from the school as the crow flies east. Its one that for the last eight years or so our tax dollars have spent millions each year on so that a few rich home owners can fly in every now and again to stay at their second homes here.

Loving that "the government is buying my protection"!!!! I certainly know a lot of them after being duped by a Senator... We all know, however, that government work doesn't pay.... And amusing to think that somehow I am professing some sort of erroneous financial acumen.... My accuser is so right, I am the poorest person I know... I will, however, see if a friend might purchase it.... Nice idea!! Everyone is looking for a tax write off.....Truly!!

Because Bryan don't have the money Timmy. He has done ok for himself, but over all has tried to make the government buy his protection and let him pretend he is bigger than he is. His pretending is the biggest problem with his reality.

Why don't Bryan just purchase the land, then he can do with it as he see's fit...

Its already a farm designation. Maybe the Dollars could put a pig farm on it. I am sure the neighbors would love that.

I was thinking some high rise apartments/condos for low to no income families. Maybe an extension of AMH, tailored specifically to drug addicts (25-40 wet beds) from across the region. Better yet, w/ all the money the sheriff's department is making off housing inmates from other counties, why not make more money by constructing an additional detention facility?

There are always updates that the airport could use...

They may need to spend a little more on the landing strip. With the new school the kids will start being flown in.

No Bryan you may just know us personally. Were you to look at the entire site you will see we carry right much power especially in the political field. Doubt us just go ask Judy Poe. This site has been mentioned in open session on more than one occasion. No telling how much we are discussed behind closed doors. Its a mistake to doubt what you are told by a few on this site. Its up to you to have the intelligence to decipher.

Now dont run away mad and hide with your feelings stomped on. Thats your first mistake, letting your feelings be known. I personally could care less if they built it in the court house front door.
