New tactic to remove transparency from County Government.

UP, it seems to be government operations everywhere, but that doesn't make it right. And if we don't say something about it, it is the same as letting them think we accept it.

I believe there is a requirement that the agenda be published ahead of any meeting. I could not find it in the GS, so I sent an email to the attorney generals office asking about that. They generally respond in a day or two.

So what you are implying here UP is that since it has always been thus, we should just ignore it and let it continue to be accepted as the norm. Is that right?

And you base your opinion on what?

A total cleaning every two years, would not solve the issue.. It would just introduce new faces to it. Things have been done this way for years, and always will be...

A solution to this could be replace the entire board every 2 years.

It would seem to me that it would be far easier to simply do it the right way. Discuss things in the open at meetings as they should. By conducting business this way, it makes some of us feel as if maybe there is personal interest being the reason they do it the hard way. Maybe some influence peddling going on? Maybe just wanting to appear "cooperative" to some people. It just seems as if when one group gets voted out, their old ways still carry on. Kind of like flushing one of these newer commodes that use less water per flush. There is often a little bit of stuff left to linger in the bowl.

It seems they will go to any lengths to keep the public from knowing what they are doing. Three of them forget who they work for. I still can't believe I voted for two of them. Never again.

What exactly have they done this time?

You know the last board of mouth breathers stood together with one just as stupid as the other. They met before meetings and called it lunch. Ms Greene pointed this out and the guilty squealed.

The emerging appearance now is the three on the right are meeting before the meetings with their plan. Were these idiots not meeting before meetings there would be discussion from each one. The humerus part is they think we are falling for it.

It would appear that our elected "officials" are working to further remove possible input from the citizens during Commissioner meetings. First it was a change in time to try and be sure folks with jobs could not attend the meetings, now the Chair and his sheep wish to make the meeting agenda meaningless.

I appreciate Rhodes and Sands trying to stand up to the fearsome threesome and keep some transparency in the meetings.
