I doubt that since I quit at 3 and only hauled 8 loads total either way I have no idea who own or built it since I was to young to remember.

Never had any desire to be a owner operator. My theory is drive it, park it, let someone else worry over it

You are too dumb to comprehend what I was telling you Timmy. I will always be better than you because I am the individual that owns the company and the trucks. You only drive them. You own nothing. You do as you are told.

Why would i buy a truck? I enjoy the fact I can park mine and the repairs and anything else associated with it are taken care of by the company.

Good guess Farmer, but nope. Dollar Mart bought it in the 70's from about the third owner. But keep thinking.

Well actually several businesses were cut off the main loop from the warehouses folks built thinking they'd cash in, to a number of car dealership, a comic/hobby store, that Dollar Mart at Deep Gap, NC, the Exxon Station which used to sit across from it (where the road is now), I never really bothered to count but I'd say more than a dozen businesses were affected, some like the ones that built the storage buildings and warehouses did it to drive up property cost in hopes of a big payday. The state got tired of dealing with them and just went behind most of them.

I'd have to say one of the original founders of Colvard Oil built it. The company was founded in 1946 but I don't know who would still be alive. I don't think R.W Colvard is so you tell us Public, who was it?

Yep, Larry owned it last. But it was built before Larry was born.

I'm with Joe. And at one time, Larry had multiple stores in Watauga. I believe most are now shut down.

Since the store has been there as long as I can remember and I really don't know who owned it I am going to take a WAG( wild @$$ guess) and say Larry Dollar.

Here's you a trivial Question Joseph.
Who built the Dollar Mart Station? A few hints - he's still alive, lives in your community less than a mile from you, was only 20 at the time and bought out the old Lonz Miller store to not have any competition?
