How much time have you spent reviewing traffic patterns and numbers? Can you at least tell me how many vehicles travel from 421 to the 163 intersection per day?

I've called the DOT twice trying to get the traffic light timing better adjusted at 163/221 to no avail. They always say it has to go through Wilkes and they will let them know. I think they forget it when they hang up the phone.

Actually, it's not school traffic that is causing the backup. It's AEV letting out and all of the other people who get off work at 5pm who are causing the jam.

Traffic wouldn't get backed up if people would just let the bus take their kids to and from school. After all you are paying for the bus service, whether you use it or not.

Taking out the red lights out in West Jefferson and Lansing is the best thing to happen since they took the train out in 1977
