Gun Free Zones are the problem, sides if gun control laws worked, Chicago would have the least gun violence in the USA, they consistently are in the top 5.
Sides the government and law enforcement being the only ones having guns makes me think of Shindler's List.

I have no issues with background checks or registration... If it case down to an out right ban on firearms, i would have no issue with that either. I have not and never will be a fan or supporter of the NRA.

Well as long as these mentally off balance beings are allowed to roam free as air breathing beings, then that's all the more reason to have the armed guards at our educational institutions, and give the law enforcement authorities more power to handle the situations that may arise.

Heres something else to occupy your small minds. Each day 28 people die as a result of a drunk driver. For your pleasure thats over 9856 persons a year killed by a drunk driver. Yet your liberal friends want to ban guns. Why are you not banning drugs and alcohol? You have been duped into feeling comfortable with the fact and the news media no longer publishes the news of drunk drivers killing men, women, and children. Instead of hiring school yard barneys your money would have been better spent on the enforcement of dui's.
Until the government is made to realize that the fazing out of the institutions for the mentally insane was a mistake you will continue to read about a shooting by a mentally deranged person. Take it to the bank.

To put the knee jerk reaction all over the country with the rush to hire school yard barneys into a perspective you may understand about how government metaled in the medical field one only needs to look at the recall of a car. When a brand of a car kills a few people the car is recalled and fixed. When the mentally insane go off their rocker they are given a bottle of pills, they promise to take them and are let back out into society and among your school children to continue maiming or killing people.

Wow, I thought the full moon was last week with the eclipse. Clealry the morons are out to play this weekend. I apologize for leaving you fools to your own detriments while I was drinking and entertaining a lovely lady. (She's recouping for round 3). While the media has done as much as they can to make it look like these events happen every day, it's clear that neither of you fools have bothered to ever look at the actual numbers or statistics. You've never done the math to figure out what the odds are of a shooting happening at a school. Just to give you a hint, they are about the same as winning the power ball.
Further more, educated research has proven that correcting problems very early instead of trying to stop them at the criminal level is not only cheaper, but is also much more affective. You want to make sure stuff like this doesn't happen in Ashe? Then instead of spending money on security guards, put it towards therapists that can identify and treat the kids with problems. Stop it before it ever happens. Or as Barney said, nip it in the bud.
Now, I'm drunk, and my concubine is calling my attention more than this place is. I'll get back to thrashing you morons late in the afternoon after I decide to get up. Until then. Timmy, cuddos on the secretary.
