Here's an idea. If the sheriff's office is short handed, take those useless school yard Barney's and given them other tasks to do. A county this size should have more than 3 officers on duty at a time.

I doubt one could obtain it with the investigation ongoing. As soon as the sbi announces and the da announces their findings I would say they would have no choice but to release it.

Reading the link you posted on the lawsuit, clearly that attorney got the video from the first shooting. One just needs to submit a public information request.

Kiddo, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for that footage to be released.

I didn't say the cases aren't investigated. I said they don't release the data. No one is compiling stats on these cases.

Standard procedure when the SBI is called in to investigate an officer shooting. Same thing is going on here in Wilkes with the officer shooting in Ronda a few weeks ago. Takes about a month before much of anything is released to the press.

Well I guess those two fired the shots. I wonder if they are still on suspension and if the body camera footage will ever be release for public view. I would like to see how the indecent unfolded and make my own judgment as to if their reactions were justifiable.

I left out one more that should join the ranks of the unemployed. The district attorney. Although the attorneys for the family say the district attorney based his decision the shooting was justified reading only the statements of the officers and not the SBI reports. How could this be? Why have none of the paper boys reported this lawsuit filed in 2014?

How fast will the district attorney clear the officers in the latest shooting?

I found it interesting that the dash cam in the slobs car was not working. It was working in Mundays car.
