Most are one in the same.

But, I do feel a bit sorry for Hillary. She pretty much spent her whole life working to be the first female president of the United States. She even forged her husband into the Oval Office to help her own goals. Then, when she finally got her shot, she lost to someone that had zero political experience. It had to hurt to realize how bad America disliked her.

I thought the same thing of all the Hillary supporters. They could be one in the same.

I find it a bit worrisome if in this day and age people of suggested education end up crying in a corner if their opinion isn't accepted as fact.

Aficionados, you and I have talked about this before, and I don't believe that you've intentionally tried to run people off. But I can think of several users that stopped posting because they felt like they were being attacked. People simply don't go where they don't feel welcome.

You might think that they didn't contribute anything, but they did; they contributed their own thoughts and ideas, and they gave you discussion topics. They gave you the ability to correct common misconceptions, and maybe even correct you on a misconception. But now, they contribute nothing at all by not posting... which I don't think any of us think is better.

As I showed before, we have more people viewing the site than ever, but for some reason they're not posting in the Community Voice. The number of classified ads have increased proportionate to the traffic, but just not the message board posts. The question is, why?

And the question for you is, do you want the site to succeed? If so, then why not act as an advocate? Encourage people in real life to post, be welcoming to new posters, and discourage people from attacking other posters.

But if you don't want the site to succeed, then why, exactly, are you here?
If these people can't handle some post made on a web forum how do they make it in life?

I don't read Alex Jones or listen to them (or Rush Limbaugh) or pretty much any of the talking heads, they much like CNN and NBC are trying to sell you a point of view, and usually the truth is somewhere in between what they claim and their opposition claims.

Junior, is that usually about the time your Alex Jones talking points come out?

I'm not a frequent poster, but I visit the site a few times a week.

I try to post where I think I might have something to say, however once a thread seems to go down the flamebait or troll route I generally avoid posting in it, even if I do read it. Sometimes I have nothing to say though so I don't post.

Dog, why is it that you can't go out in public and invite people to use the site? Word of mouth could get a lot accomplished. And yes I agree maybe some radio advertisements could also work. But that's not up to me, i'll leave that to the powers that be and in the meantime i'll continue to be entertained...

GA I just showed you just one example of a person insulting, attacking me FIRST. I have even let some slide in the past year because they were just not worth the effort and no one believes them. Yes I have a reputation on the site as does fins and its human nature to try and knock us both off. Yes I do want the site to succeed but I cant go out in the public and invite people. Perhaps you should take out some advertising in the Jefferson post and the Ashe mountain times. For that matter the radio station is quite popular up here.

I still say you should start a thread and participate in the thread asking people what they would like to see and what they want or expect. I give you my word I wont make the first post on the thread. I bet fins would too.

Happy Thanksgiving

Ah, how sweet you and dog have the same imaginary friend..

I've never tried to run anyone off. If they couldn't handle what was said here, I really hope they never find the rest of the Internet. Compared to other forums, this is candy land.

Timmy has never added anything. It's a shame too, because initially, I thought he had potential to be a valuable contributor, but he couldn't stand the heat and quickly melted into a bland middle of the road cliche.

Wifey is still angry because her incompetent husband got his *** handed to him when he tried to run for sheriff. When she tried to pump him up here, she was slaughtered. And if you go back and find those threads, it wasn't mine or dog's doing. We might have participated, but pretty much everyone jumped on to tell her how stupid her husband is.

Timmy? You must be infatuated with your imaginary friend...

I have contributed my opinion on various topics, as well as being entertained. It's really not that difficult. Maybe you should try it sometime. And who knows you just may learn something in the process.

Ok Tom, just what have you contributed to this site other then troll myself or Fins?

Goashe notice that wife's first post was an opinion of hers which did come true. I posted a response to her opinion with my opinion. It was her that started with the insults toward me. The insults come from other posters first toward me or Fins about 90% of the time. I have shown much more restrain then in my past. However I will defend myself and my reputation.

However my post " I bet you call my name in your sleep" was not meant as a vulgar response. Its meaning is wife dreams about me. Hardly vulgar to me.
