The church tomb stones continue to kill and managle children.

I agree with a few others, children should not be running around and playing in a cemetery to begin with.

I mean I as a kid roamed up and down the mountains playing through hill and valley, but never did we play in a cemetery out of respect for the dead. That's a big problem today no reverence in our society for the dead or elders etc.

Yes parents today would probably be arrested for allowing kids to play how I did, cause we went up the mountain with a simple rule, be home by supper time. Our parents though had taught us the need to respect nature and each other as well as others, and they trusted us to follow their guidelines even when they weren't about. Today they call that free range parenting and make it a crime......

Thumper lady toys are pulled off of shelves and recalled, fences are required around swimming pools, car seats are required by law yet children are being killed in grave yards. There have been some law suits.

That is a valid point. However I know many churches that have cemiteries but are not maintained by the church. Regardless, kids should always be supervised.

Well, it's more likely to be church cemeteries that aren't properly maintained due to expense.

I guess you think it is automatically a Church problem?

It was a girl this time and was being treated at wake forest baptist in Winston. 200 pound stone fell on her.

Children in a graveyard i have no issue with, it's the parents that let them run and play there..It's kind of like the overlooks on Mount Jefferson. sure take your kids there, but don't let them go exploring on the edge of the rocks.. Common sense should prevail here, but doesn't always come into play....

Clod are you advocating no children in grave yards? That may have to happen.

First issue is who are these idiots that are letting their crumb ****ers run loose playing in a church grave yard?

Many of you remember the Johnny troopers child that was killed a couple of years ago playing in a church grave yard with stones that are dangerous. Yet another child was in a grave yard and a stone fell on her. This time the child has lived but not without pain and suffering because no one sees that these stones are safe and taken care of.
