It is a one price store Sara. People may give out Halloween candy that you don't have to pay for, but somebody has to pay for it somehow. No free lunch.

Skybest has no competition, getting them to lower their price is like pulling a tooth..good luck...

Is there anyway to get a cheaper rate with Skyline/Skybest? I asked them to match the price I pay now with AT&T but they said they couldn't because AT&T does not service Ashe County. Is there any way to get them to go down on prices? Will they match Dish Network or DirecTv prices??

The problem is that they are operated by idiots and buy their TV service from the lowest priced option. They aren't a full cable service provider. They buy and resell someone else's service. And with the fiber compression, it's ultimately IP video. Same as YouTube. So if you pay attention, you get lots of jaggedness. Especially when text scrolls the screen like on news channels

I use Skyline/Skybest for my telephone, internet & TV. Not too much else to choose from. The service has been very disappointing lately. Does anyone know what the problem is with them? Wish there were more choices.

We live near town and we use Skybest for tv & internet. Other than Morris it's about your only choice for both tv & internet unless you go satellite and satellite internet isn't that good. Truth is nothing is great for what you pay.

Morris Broadband sucks. They do not offer Disney XD, Boomerang, nor a number of other channels they offer in other Town. However they do offer about 10 religious channels and 10 shopping channels.
