Well have ate there 5 or 6 times, and food was just okay, and very expensive. Ate there this past Sunday, and service was bad. Had our meal before the salad came, and It was wrong too. I will, and prefer Winner Circle any day over these guys. Only reason we ate there was because Hotel Tavern was closed.

I take it back. Have eaten there twice in the last two weeks and the food was fresh and good. The beers are fun get a flight or ask for suggestions. My new place to go.

It is so bad that we have to drive to Boone or Blowing Rock to get a great meal. This place is so over priced it is just funny. I can drive to Boone get a better meal and price even after i pay for gas. It is clear that this owner has no experience and should pay for a real manager. He will lose business now that the new Hotel Tavern has opened.

For those who have only been once to Boonedocks since it opened, do yourself a favor and go back again. Like some of you, we went into the place shortly after the new owner took over and were disappointed... We've gone back in there two times in the last month and were much more impressed. The food was very good on these visits and the service was still good. They are still redoing the inside and it will take a few more months to complete, but give it another try... Admittedly, both my visits were for lunch, not dinner, but we were once again impressed. The prices are a bit higher than other places in WJ, but at least the food and service were good...

The new guy is trying, but in 2 tripsI must say, they're not doing, 1st trip food was not good, 2nd trip after 1 hour and 14 minutes still no food. We ordered 2 salads, 1 order of fries and a hamburger. He came to the table and said " we screwed up"

The experience I had in Boondocks Restaurant yesterday was amazing! My family and I were seated promptly, our server Stephanie took such great care of us and was SUPER friendly, the food was fantastic, and atmosphere was just wonderful. I don't think I have anything negative to say at all about my experience! I will most certainly be dining in with Boondocks more frequently!
