Ashe County is a beautiful place that unfortunately has a surfeit of Republicans and Trumpoids. They constantly whine about what's wrong with Ashe yet they are the root cause of what's wrong with the county. Because they are in the majority they are able to load up the key positions in county government with "Good Christian" repub's from whence come most of our woes.

You know there are roads that lead out of Ashe County, maybe you whiners should see if they'll take you somewhere more to your liking. You whine about the sheriff's dept.yet you let the repub's vote in their "God fearing" sheriffs every election. You whine about the hospital which is the best you'll ever find in any comparable rural area. The critics that are always whining are Ashe County's worst aspect.
