Better Business Bureau bad reviews

It they aren't members of the BBB then the BBB is powerless (actually even if they are).

I know of one business that used to be part of a national chain that had a bad BBB rating and eventually just went with the owners name. Far as I hear they are still as bad as always, which is funny since they seem to stay full, however I'll withhold the business name since they aren't BBB members at this point.

I removed the names of the businesses for two reasons:

1. Neither are listed with the Better Business Bureau, which means that they can have neither a positive nor negative review:

The BBB is a membership organization, like the Chamber of Commerce, and they do not review businesses that are not members. In fact, business ratings are based on how much the member pays:

2. I've noticed some people that are trying to spread rumors that aficionados and jack rip her are certain business owners, which I'm 99% sure is wrong. I also suspect that they know they're wrong and are just trying to hurt these businesses. Since these businesses were the ones named here, by a new username, I'm pretty sure it's just created with the intention of further libeling those business owners.

You've clearly never run a business and know nothing about sole proprietorships, subsidiaries, or DBA.

Also, the better business bureau has no power. It's really a scam in itself.

I've noticed several different businesses in our county that has very poor ratings by the Better Business Bureau. One business known as **** had extremely low rating and multiple bad reviews. When I looked at their corporations status they have never registered with the NC Secretary of State's office. Also a further check shows these individuals never file a tax return showing profits? Is it they are running public businesses without a business license or having insurance. I reported those businesses to the BBB and I'm waiting for a response.
The other businesses included ****. I called the owner but never got a response.
How do these people get by without business licensing and having insurance. The are operating above the laws of the state, I guess. There are some others, but those two seemed to have the highest worst reviews.
