I wonder what it would cost to get SP to set up conjugal visits

Last Sheriff during the last 2 shootings was a Democrat with lots of experience... Sometimes it takes more than experience and popularity to be a good Sheriff.

I haven't, but I'm not sold on who has more experience, both have experience! Just because one has 35 years and the other 12 doesn't mean Howell is not qualified.Like I said in the on the other thread Hartley, one of your best Sheriff's worked at a funeral before he became Sheriff, so please tell me how that qualifies for experience. I've only lived hear 2 years, so I'm not voting on popularity. I want to know how each candidate is going to help our community and who will do a better job overall.

Absher might possibly give Howell a job in the SO after the election if things don't get too ugly. Of course the link to the Houck lawsuit in another thread didn't show Phil in a very positive light. It brings his decision making skills into question and we all know how it ended. She even cut a deal with Wilkes County to not charge them to House their prisoner here so she could keep him tutoring. She made that deal without James’s authorization. I’m pretty sure that’s a felony. I’ve been told she also forged his name regularly, but haven’t been able to confirm that.
