Now that story is not completely accurate. I was subpoenaed to testify as was Ginny. The sheriffs office contacted me 3 times the week before that trial. The first was to subpoena both me and her. The second and third was looking for her. She had split and that Sheriffs office was told they would be sued for harassment if they contacted me again, and that I would be in court. Alan Varden did beat her after she moved in with him since I was the one who took her to the emergency room that night. Also both she and Varden had followed Eric to Monroe that night to help him escape knowing full well what he claimed to have done. AIDING AND ABETTING a supposed felon. You would have though the Ashe Sheriffs department would have known that was,a crime. Now what never came out in that courtroom was that Alan Varden has beaten his then wife so badly that she almost lost the baby she was carrying in ATLANTA, GEORGIA. There were two almost IDENTICAL TOYOTA TRUCKS. Eric's was checked for evidence and to my knowledge Vardens was not. There were enough people in that field to cast doubt on ANY EVIDENCE collected at the scene. Everyone from Shatley on down. The prime witness the nephew never appeared in that courtroom having fled back to Mexico and he was never extradited. Had I sat on that jury it would have been a hung jury.Knowing what I know,I have never believed Eric guilty of anything except getting tied up with Ginny a big mistake on his part.

Yes the case was still active. The judge had ordered a break but told them NOT TO DISCUSS IT. When I told Lynch hos statement was the question was what he was going to do about it. He did nothing. Eric Calls problem was he would NOT ALLOW the TRUTH to be told. He meant to protect certain people if he had to die to do it. I tried for more than a year to get him to telk me exactly what happened that night. Last I heard his sentence was changed to life in prison with no parole. They had no murder weapon cause according to the da it might have been this, this, that, or we might not even have it. The murder weapon, a SHOVEL HANDLE, and the rope the victim was tord with lay on the back of ALAN VARDENS truck in front of the sheriffs office.

I went to Eric's lawyer and told him that after the JUDGE gave them instructions to NOT DISCUSS that case outside the courtroom they were sitting on the steps were everyone walking by, INCLUDING ME , could hear every single word they were saying. They were also discussing whether they should "FEEL SORRY " for Eric's mother and whether that should affect their decision. Had I had a phone at that time it would have all been slapped on youtube.

Krazy did you hear them discussing the case? Was the case still active or were they done?

Wonder if the jury discussed the case on the court house steps like they did in the Eric Call case. Too bad Lynch didn't file for a mistrial. An impartial jury in Ashe is a joke.
