Remember several months ago when fins and I exposed Donnie on this site and he quickly disappeared. Like fins said he is a noise maker, nothing more, he just wants you to think he has money.

Captain, there is a very, very small number of people who are unhappy with a Hartley / Williams SO.Nelson and Co. have been starting shirt for years because at some point an elected Sherriff refused to do their bidding. And then an elected Clerk of Court and a DA refused to follow orders. All of this is caused by one rich guy who did not get his way. That is how it should be. His desires, regardless of his wealth, should have no more weight than yours or mine.

The Mochen agenda has been purchased. He will do as the owners say. I think that would be not only wrong, but a huge disaster for the people of Ashe. I think the people of Ashe will show how little they think of Mochen on May 8th.

Well Sassy, The man from Florida has an excellent record. Verifiable Record. That is something we never got from Buchanan. I never said who I was voting from but I can say that all three of the Republicans running seem to be excellent choices. Bucky is alright but the old system that everyone seems disgruntled about will remain in place under him as it has for the last several years. It's a matter of wanting to keep the good "Ole Buddy System" or trying to have a fair and balanced law enforcement that's new and ready to run the Sheriff's Department as it should be ran.

The professionalism I speak of deals with the certified and accredited deputies we had under Hartley and Williams. Party did not matter. When Bufurt came in we ended up with rookies and cast offs from the flatlands. No certifications or credentials. But party was all important. We will be paying for the lawsuits that resulted from that foolishness for many moons and suns.

Though I agree with you on Buchanan. I am Sorry, But I have to call BS on Williams & Hartley's professionalism. Had they been professional, they would not have had a welcome home party for good ole boy - while forgetting the everyone in the county that made a little screw up in their life..

Buchanan was against it because he viewed people who knew how to do the job as a threat. The only " good ole boy " network I have seen is the three corrupt commissioners and the county manager. Perry, Rose, Roark and Yearick put themselves before the citizens for over a year. With the resignation of Roark the personal agenda has come to an end. Sands, Rhodes and McNeill now vote for what is best for the people of Ashe. We need to elect two more in the next two elections that will put the people first. |

Trutherfinder......now that's accurate. Yes Jack, I bet Truth was one of Bufurt's detectives. That bunch could not find their butt using both hands and a road map. I feel pretty sure they will never figure out anonymous posters on this site. We have had 10 times the number of arrests since Hartley took over that we got from Bufurt. I am not sure any of the Bufurt arrests held up to make it to court. I heard they lacked the training to process the forms in the correct manner.

Yes, Monty, Sassy is an Absher supporter. Sassy has nothing against Howell or Hendix. Sassy remembers watching them grow up. Sassy has a problem with the puppet Mochen, who is supported by people that show every day they can not be trusted.
