So with the Callie Grubb move, where is Jason Krider going?

The max base salary for a Principal that has exceeded their goals is $7410 per month. The max salary for a Central office administrator is $8688. I have no idea what level she is, but most definitely there is room for growth at the central office. Initially the move maybe a lateral one, but it offers more opportunity.

No new names here. I don't have to create new ones to prove you are an .

Youaresureonitnow. You just proved my exact point. The constant badgering of this family by you and the others who didn’t do their job is disgusting. No wonder she is leaving. Why don’t you post about all the things that truly happened that caused you to be where you are. And no I’m not “mamas boy” as you continuously like to taut, but a very concerned parent about our school. Also, pretty sure there are several directors who were assistant principals in this county. You might want to find out what all they had to be responsible for and how closely they work with their principals before you keep judging their inadequacies.

So how much more are you willing to pay in county property taxes in order to increase the Ashe stipend to be equal to Wilkes?

Directors are not promotions. Look at the directors in this county. Not one has been a principal. They usually make less than principals. If you say this site is the reason, then why are you on it?

She got new furniture and new everything there and had extra positions. That was all that I ever read. She went through many teachers and assistant principals, but did gets lots of money poured in that school.

You never posted when we have lost many teachers to Watauga, almost 10 in the last few years. They are a better system. Not Wilkes. Do your research. Wilkes is not.

This site has defended her and the leaders and heels09 are together and have made sure of that. Heels has a new name. He is the one posting. What a life.

People post a lot of untruths here but Yates hasn’t got a teaching license or any experience in a school and that is what has been said. She makes 100k , so heels needs to deal with it. Now, he has yet another user name and is defending his sister.

Thank goodness Wilkes has this site. He can keep up his extracurricular. He needs to find another hobby. So old.

I think the grunted parent rode a short bus to school.

At least the OP cares and is involved in the education of his/her children. The same can’t be said for the majority of parents in this county. They can’t even care for themselves let alone their progeny.

So disgrunted parent are your kids in the little special ed class? Did you drink while you were knocked up?

These supplements are also why the NC average teacher pay is greater than the top of the state salary scale.

The stats say the average pay is $53975, but the NC salary schedule tops out at $52K

Wake County's supplement is pushing $9K and Ashe County is $600, but there is a substantial cost of living difference.

Teacher salary supplements by county in NC 2018-2019

Scroll about 1/2 way down the page for data.

Some systems pay a % of base pay so it varies based on teacher experience, and some pay a flat rate, like Ashe.

From a professional standpoint, she should’ve moved on a while back. Being an admin in ACS is a dead end job, unless you have no desire for professional advancement. But yeah, results matter and BRE was bottom of the barrel before she arrived.

I totally agree that t is a promotion and there are other reasons for her leaving. However, everything she accomplished was always contributed to nepotism. She worked hard for us and if she would have been allowed to shine here without the negative talk, we may would not have lost her to another system. Just stating what a shame it was that she ever had to endure the negative talk that was falsely spread.

She basically got a promotion. It’s a better school system too.

Ms Grubb accepted a position in the BOE office of Wilkes County.

Yes, they pay supplements.

Wilkes and Watauga pay a supplemental to their teachers? I'm not aware of that.

Thus I don't see how money could be a motivation. Teachers in NC are paid by years of experience, so any raise by moving systems was a result of her tenure in the NC system, nothing else.

This site though defended her as much as attacked her. In fact she was probably defended far more than say Buchanan or Poe or Price or Roark or Rose or any number of folks that we as a group have largely gone after.....

This site pretty heavily defended her against her attackers. I would guess she left for more money. Also the claims of nepotism might have been part of the factor too.

Someone explain what nepotism means to the people that have bashed her before.

Another point I would like to make is that we lose teachers to Wilkes and Watauga on a regular basis because they pay more.
