I am blonde but far from female. I understand she was not bad looking and well I've been told I fell out of ugly tree. Now we know a little about me, tell me about yourself Kase?

Well its budget time and who knows for sure what vehicles were bought. I got a feeling with the current state of affairs we all may be broke.

The banner is not the only waste of money Local. What about those coins he has been handing out. What are they and why does anyone want one. Waste of our tax money. Then there is the personal political photographer he has follow him around on the county's dime. How did the commisioners give him the money for a position that is purely political motivated? How about him begging for all that money to buy cars for his road officers and the only new cars i have seen is his new Grand Cherokee and Houck's new car. Seems all the office people get new cars but not seen any on the road patrolling. He told the commisioners he needed road cars.

That's not the one I'm talking about. The week before the one in question was a minor who hit a car with an elderly lady and child. The lady passed away at the scene.

The person involved in the pedestrian fatality at Lowe's was not a minor. She was an older adult from Sparta who had previously had her license revoked for medical reasons. She dropped her husband off at the barbershop and decided a quick trip to Walmart wouldn't hurt. So she drove his vehicle and killed the lady who was running. She should have never been behind the wheel.

Yes he was a minor at the time it occurred. The name of the boy that was in the fatality at Lowe's was never released either. That was less talked about than the one Houck's son was involved in. I think being both are minors is the reason of little to no news coverage. Not the fact one was the son of the chief deputy.

His second hand in command (Houck) has experience. Thats true. His son was (sadly) also the one that was in a recent car accident where one person was killed. Houck's son was charged. I disagreed with Phill and Houck telling the officers that if they talked about it, they would lose their job but I guess its hush.. hush...

The sheriff is a political office. For a good sheriff to keep the office, he also has to be a good politician. Also, the job of high sheriff is an administrative position, not a law enforcement position.

He isn't up for re-election at the moment so not sure how that would be a political post. They do eat out every meal and have for many years. At least they are supporting the community.

I might agree with MIL on this. Using tax dollars for a big banner at the park was my first peeve. Then the latest SM post about the department eating out every meal seems to be more of a re-election ploy than care for the community, but that's just my perception. Reeks of politics rather than law enforcement/administrative actions.
