Yes, finally something that Fins and I agree upon. Turns out that we really needed to have a dedicated pandemic response team in place...the CDC needed funding/resources, etc. History and science tell us it was just a matter of time and unfortunately the time is now.

Well, we were expecting it though. Experts have been warning about such a pandemic for decades but politicians have been cutting funding and dismantling our defense system surpluses for years.

This is not a blame game, we weren't expecting nor were we prepared for this. And honestly I know several people who probably had covid before it was labeled. This is where we are now. From everything thing I've read countries that have slowed the spread down was due to testing, so if counties tested surrounding citizens by districts, maybe that would help.

I still think it's sad that breaking news is wash your hands and cover your mouth when you cough...it's common sense and if anyone hasn't started to do that til now no wonder the numbers went up so high so rapidly.

Your boy Cuomo should have taken action sooner and shut down travel in NY weeks sooner. It's amazing y'all are praising him when he didn't do anything for his state to prevent the spread.

In one of his press conferences Cuomo made a comment about other states sending equipment and personnel to NY and when it moved to another state they would do the same. He said we should be helping each other. I had it on in the background while working. I think maybe 2 days ago.

Como was offered 17 thousand ventilators a few years ago but he refused them stating they were too much. But that didn't stop his other shady deal up state. The lack of ventilators in New York is on Como. Roy should also block I-95 south bound.
