I don’t even know why they bother holding a convention or even having a county organization. The leadership is old, way out of touch. Fact is, they’re really DINOs, FDR New Deal throwbacks. Not much separates them from Ashe Republicans in an ideological sense. They always trot out Melba Toast and Delmas Parker at these sham events.
