Underdog2, It is most gracious of you to call me a lady, sight unseen. Allow me to extend the same grace and call you a gentleman.
In my paradigm "anyone" and "folk" always refers to humans.
Yes, after the death of my soulmate of a mere 28 years I am very lonely and depressed. But I am looking to create a community of like-minded followers of Messiah, servants of G-d.
In my mind and heart I am still married and in no way looking for emotional companionship.
Please forgive me if my OP gave any other impression.
Shalom b'Yeshua Peace in Jesus

The House of Prayer in Jefferson preaches a pro-law message, and biblical holiness through the Holy spirit. Currently operates on Sunday mornings at 10. But may be looking to start Saturday morning services if people who are interested would come. It is on Ashe Park Road across from the Veterans of Foreign Wars building.

We are Messianic, or shall I say we follow the Hebrew/Jewish Messiah and yes there are no fellowships here. We how ever use the Name rather than G-d. We are and have been on this path for a number of years. Shalom!!

Is there anyone in this area who is also interested in the same?? If so, speak up :)
Now this lady states in her opening statement that she is a widow and implies she is lonely. She asked if there is "anyone". Well anyone would apply to the dog. So I am choosy when it comes to concubines coming into the fold. I feel my post should not have been removed.

I just remembered this. Several years ago I had a client in the Boone area that was a Hebrew man that was of messianic faith. A couple years ago, I heard he had started this church. They call it Orthodox Christian, I believe.
Now, my info on this being the same man,and this being the same as messianic may be incorrect. But you can check with them. Also, looks like some of the sermons are posted, so that may help.

Thank you jrscott295
Yes, I attended the Reform congregation in Boone for Yom Kippur this year.
As you know even those congregations you list are quite a bit more than "a Sabbath's journey" away.
Perhaps HaShem will provide a travel trailer so I could attend one. His will be done.
Thank you for your reply. May G-d bless and keep you :)

The local Jewish Temple is not Messianic as I'm sure you know (it's in Boone, near the LDS Church).
There is a IAMCS congregation in Kannapolis, NC There is also a IAMCS congregation in Bristol, VA There is a UMJC congregation in Cary, NC
Unfortunately I don't know any Messianic followers in the area.

Shalom y'all, I am a middle-aged widow in Ashe County who has been a Messianic Gentile for nearly 30 years. My husband and I have been in Messianic ministry in several congregations and have been teaching the Jewish Foundations of Christianity for years in a local supportive church. I attend a local Christian congregation because, as you know if you are Messianic, there is no local Messianic congregation. I'd like to meet with other Messianic Believers in the area for fellowship and mutual support, perhaps even mutual celebration of G-d's Festivals and Feasts. Is there anyone in this area who is also interested in the same?? If so, speak up :) b'Shalom Henaynei
