Y’all need to write personal letters of apology to the sheriff right now.

It was a technical problem on the state’s end of the system. Still, it was not the sheriff pulling down the Ashe listings or refusing to provide info as some said.

An apology might be a bit premature. We still don't know why MP was offline.

Looks like the problem is solved and Mobile Patrol is working again.

If the paper boys gave a flying fornicate, they'd get the booking sheets directly from the big house and publish them weekly. You know, the way it used to be.

Maybe Sheriff Howell will take care of the problem with MP after the Christmas break. I'm sure he is aware of it by now. Like Fins said, it might just need to be updated from Hartley to Howell.

It's not about approval. Transparency and approval are two different things. The new sheriff was the one who bellowed transparency.

The same thing happened when Bufurt was sworn in. Most likely because of the authority the high sheriff carries in NC, new agreements have to be signed when a new sheriff is sworn in. But since mobile patrol stopped posting charges, the whole thing is kind of useless now anyway.

Do you honestly think every decision made within that department has to be publicly approved?
