Emergency, a short lived Jack Webb classic in the early 70's, G&D's would be a good nickname FINS

It’s not me. In most of the cases, I’ve just stood back quietly and observed. Y’all have serious ego problems. And when you start talking amongst yourselves, it becomes clear you think you are above the law.

Fins,
Maybe it’s you and not them, are you one of those who goes around saying that your respect has to be earned but refuses to show respect until they are first shown respect?

I meet Johnny Gage once, cool guy, and with that KMG365 clear.

Then why is it that 90% of them that I’ve ever encountered act like pricks? Your numbers are off.

Oh, also, regarding nicknames for paramedics, Gage & DeSoto have always been my favorites. But unfortunately, not many people now get the reference.

Jack and Fins,
You can believe what you will but with about 800,000 LEO’s nationwide there will be a few bad apples, even a small percentage of 1 or 2 bad apples equals several thousand, but the vast majority are decent folk doing a difficult job.

Ah, I finally came up with a couple for the paramedics. Y’all vote for which one gets the endorsement

Bandaid dispensers

Or

Witch Doctors

Nicknames are fun, aren't they?
Let's not forget "ambulance chasers."

Fairplay, firemen are Hose Jockeys, not Barney’s. And I think Joe really gave us Johnny Troopers and Jackbooted thugs for the state police boys. I’ve never found a good one for the paramedics. They mostly don’t say much or cause too many issues.
LEO, I’m tired of letting you have a pass with your “few bad apples” claim. The problem is more than a few. The problem is most are high from the power of their badges. And way too many are nothing but criminals themselves, with drug problems, drinking and driving, and domestic violence problems. And I’ve not even addressed the racism. Cops are ****ing racist. We can dance around it all you want, but let’s get to the show. I’ve been around way too many to buy some BS about it’s just a few bad apples. You want respect, then clean up your profession. The public now is tired of the hypocrisy that has been allowed to exist forever.

I think it is the other way around there are a few good cops and the rest are JBTs. Even if you are a good cop and you help to cover up for JBTs then you really not much better. I am tired of dealing with and reading about JBTs like the trooper who hit the old couple on 421 going 80 to 100 MPH with no lights or sirens and his buddy's who tried to put the fault on the old couple.

Then there is the Jerk that wrote me a warning ticket for not wearing my seat belt after he just got done reading my medical waiver. Or the jerk off trooper who pulled me over for not wearing my seat belt while he stood there and watch me take it off so I could get him my DL. Lets not forget about the game warden in Wilkes that assaulted an old man and his wife who was charged with and convicted of assault, Or the cop in SC that shot the guy in the gas station parking and then lied as to why for following orders and getting his DL.

Then there is the JBT that falsely arrested the nurse because he didn't have the proper paper work to do a blood draw and the 3 or 4 other cops that stood there and watch instead of putting a stop to it. These are just a few examples of the many cops who have a power tripping complex.

I only call the Barney’s to clean up the scene.

You contradicted yourself retired barney.

I retired from law enforcement three years ago. I'm so glad that I did, because now I don't have to listen to the sniveling, whining, and complaining that I had to put up with for so long. There are a few on here that are really just pathetic. You are keyboard warriors on here, but more than likely nothing but little chumps in person. You are the same idiots that gripe and complain about law enforcement, then they are the first ones you summon when somebody steals your 15 dollar weed trimmer. As far as being called a "barney," that doesn't bother me because I figure I've been called worse by better. I get a kick out of reading the comments on here. It reminds me of grade- schoolers trying to outdo one another. The great part about it though is that I can turn you off whenever I choose. Thank God I don't have to put up with you idiots any longer

Hey ****, I heard you been hanging out on school playgrounds again. You need to stop it before you get into trouble. By the way, you left your drill for the glory hole in the bathroom stall again, you need to take better care of your equipment.

Jack,
I don’t have a hit list, I try to debate issues with facts void of passions and prejudices, but sometimes I fail and fall short of that goal.

Its one at a time Leo. You and Fairplay earned my respect. I was on both your hit lists at one time. Heck I may still be.

Jack,
Respect is a two way street, to earn it you must also give it. To refer to all LEO’s as barney’s because of a few bad apples or a few bad interactions is being disrespectful to an entire profession of several hundred thousand men and women nationwide, and I’m sure you have not met each and everyone of them for them to “earn” your respect.
I have always lived by the principle of always showing and giving every person the respect that every human being deserves until they do or say something that not longer warrants my respect.

Fairplay my respect is earned. I need to send you some of the threats I have gotten from all of them. Fins and I are on their most wanted lists. Hope this sheds some light into my reasoning.

Fairplay

The post below, was addressed to Jack and Fins. They both are capable of expressing their opinions in an Intelligent, informed, and respectful manner. So I do not understand the need to regress to such juvenile conversation, especially when referring to an entire class of public servants. It serves only to devalue their thoughts in their entirety, and shows a lack of class.
