I had me a great big ole meal at Shatley this week. I've been going way before Bid Williams sold it to Lee. Never had a bad meal or bad service. Plan on going back again in a day or two

Shatley’s has been around for years. It will survive off the out of towners! Just like it always has

Jr you must not have read some of the reviews I did. It wasn't the food they complained about. It was her! Her foul mouth toward others isn't something that is good for business. She likes to screenshot complaints and bash people on her personal page. She has several family members that have nothing to do with her due to attitude. The Junction did rather well there for years. The owner of the building went up on rent is the reason they went out of business.

I hope everyone enjoys their heaping helping of re-served food and flies. I know I do!

What complaints, I mean When Pigs Fly had good reviews on every site I checked. You can't please everyone but it seems she pleased a good number of people. Still restaurant business is a tough business. I'm amazed by how many still get into it in this county, when folks close a restaurant someone else eventually buys the same location and opens a new one. If a location has failed 3 or 4 times as a restaurant then odds are it's not a good location.

Lee McMillan still owns Shatley's. Kristin is his niece and would have ran the business even more in the ground if he didn't get rid of her. His daughter and her husband are managing it now. I have a feeling the Hershners' will not be keeping Kristin for long. Especially, if the complaints come rolling in.

Kristin will ruin any establishment she is associated with.

Kristin is working on New River Brewery Eatery & Taproom, she recently posted some new menu pictures.
Halal wouldn't do good here, might as well close it. I wouldn't be surprised if Lee sells eventually I mean he's owned it for 61 years now. Getting up there in age. At the same time changing the menu to something completely foreign to people in this area would be a disastrous business choice.....

Billy is right, they quietly sold out to the Palavi’s. The Halal style menu will be interesting.

Lee McMillan still owns it.
I think a relative is running it (daughter or niece). They were going to have Kristin from When Pigs Fly run it but she's working on that new place in town.
Incidentally it's name has not always been Shatley Springs......
