Steve Mochen I don't think makes it past the primary....

I liked Ken's opinion in Ashe County Line about the matter on the GOP primary for Sheriff.

You guys are a bunch of idiots. The only place Steve Mochen is going, is the Ashe County Sheriff's Office. If God chooses another path, so be it, but Mochen will be in Ashe county for many years to come.

Will Florida accept Mochen if he chooses to return? I know it's Florida......but surely they have some standards.

Heck yeah......that is awesome news. Bufurt and company has hit the road. It's a shame he was not covered in tar and feathers and riding on a rail. Mochen must be planning to return to Florida in a few weeks.

Buchanan’s house is on the market - here and in Avery. He’s started a new chimney sweep biz in Kinston. LLC was filed last week. Wifey already put in her notice at the phone book company. Good luck, Bufurt!

Mooche is selling out.

Whose house is up for sale? Mochen or Bufurt? Or both?

So where will Moochen be living if his house sells?

I can not imagine but one reason he is still in Ashe. One of the candidates (Mochen maybe ) or Rose has probably led his stupid self to think he can be hired as a LEO.

Guess who was seen in town last night to attend an FOP meeting??? Give you a hint, he received a $71K settlement a couple of months ago in exchange for his resignation.

Interesting...

It's really to late for Bucky to drop out. But he is probably the only Democrat that could win, I don't want to see yet another office where folks are running unopposed.

I have not heard anything about Absher dropping out. Probably wishful thinking on someone's part.

Mochen doesn't have to all you guys bash the other candidates for him.

I'm glad that you admit that Phil Howell and Jimmy Hendrix are good honest men and well qualified candidates.

Liar, I believe all but maybe two on your list turned in resignations at the same time that Bufurt signed his get out of jail free deal. They weren’t fired. They weren’t even told to quit. They made sure to resign to make a big scene.

And as for the two that have left, I’m still waiting to hear the story of how they were fired or forced to leave. So far, I’ve not gotten any source to back that up.

And if Bucky is dropping out, probably a smart move. No democrat is going to get elected.

How could he? Mochen has not been here long enough to know any of them.

Don’t be jealous that we have a honest and very qualified man running for Sheriff. One thing that I have noticed about Mochen,he doesn’t go around talking about the other candidates.

Are you sure it's Mochen.....my info says he is just a puppet. Like Bufurt.
