Is this 10 jobs above all the jobs they've cut in the last decade? I mean 10 jobs wouldn't even replace all the jobs United Chemi Con cut in the last decade....

I think the BOC made a good decision here, with the promise of ten local jobs for an investment of five thousand county tax dollars.

No wonder they wanted to keep it on the down low. Reckon what the baptists think about handing tax money to a beer maker?

New River Brewing is expanding, but it's moving from Lansing to West Jefferson.

Unless NRB was gonna greatly expand their distribution, I can’t imagine them hiring 10 employees. It would be foolish too because they’ve yet to expand into far markets - same with Molly Chomper, which is also in Lansing. Are breweries even eligible for those grants?

I highly doubt the local Puritans would approve of giving taxpayer incentives to an establishment that deals in alcohol, Clod. This isn’t Portland.

A start-up craft brewery that employees 10 people? I don’t think so.
