That would be part of the Jim Todd matter. Quite a bit of money got "appropriated" to the new tower in Boone.

I wish I could remember everyone we've been accused of being.
Didn't LifeStore have more internal money management problems than a problem with bad mortgages? I was thinking before the name change they had some money disappear.

They almost went busted and got tarp money from the government during the 2008 collapse. They obviously were not bad enough to be sold by the government like so many other banks.
Fins remember we were even referred to being Jimmy Reeves and he was on the board until his death. Several good men have passed away we were accused being. I agree its a horrible name for a bank.

I don't deal with LifeStore so I didn't realize Bob was there now. Last I knew, he was at High Country Bank before they sold out. From what I've seen of him, I don't think there is a more honest banker in the high country. I don't know about the rest involved because they all have obvious agendas that could affect their bias. But Bob has nothing to gain from an underhand move like they've accused him of. This has clearly become a witch hunt. The bank should countersue for defamation of their establishment and their employee.

I think Baldwin's Pawn Shop is part of the building ground floor also. It looks like they are still open for business.
No mention of its future but it too could a separate issue for the new owner.

There are some mighty fishy players emerging from this sale. Starting with the realtor, the Woodies, and the new clown owner. No one in their right mind are going to believe the Tavern would operate and spend the money they have spent without a lease be it in writing or verbal.

According to an article in the Post, the Woodie family now has a counterclaim against the Tavern owners.

I see Mr Beck continues to maintain his reputation (based on several past court cases).
I'm pretty such erecting such signs if they do hurt the business is a breach of the agreement to delay the court case......you know where in they were required to maintain the status quo......
If someone did beat his *** probably deserved it......
