If he steps foot on their land that is a strong possibility

Maybe they will catch Roark out somewhere and give him the UPS treatment.

Redford quarries is the name of the business. It is owned by the Cecile family. Yes, they can be a hand full at times.

At the very least it will show what several on this site have been saying for years in that the meeting takes place before the meeting,.

I agree largely with Mr. Lynn's remarks, however Trump blames Obama a lot less than Obama blamed Bush. (he could of left that line out).
I hope this whole affair comes and bites the commissioners in the ***, wouldn't it be funny if the Sheriff opened up a corruption investigation on them.....it just would be hilarious.

As for the so called commissioners, personally I hope they all get caught up in this joke of a botch job they have done to this county. As for the sheriff, I watched his mental rant to the board and towards the end after Rhodes,Sands has already ask him to rap up his BS. Paula Perry can be heard saying " Someone needs to stop this"! Hope your proud of your vote Perry! LMAO

I just wouldn't put it past bufurt to target Ken. Look what he did to fellow officers. Although he better be hoping those emails dont contain what I think they pertain.

I do agree with Ken and hope he continues to put the heat on the commissioners and Sheriff. However I wish he would keep the focus on local politics. There is zero benefit to compare local politics to national politics. It will do more damage than good.

Today's opinion piece is yet another bulls eye by Ken Lynn. The majority of problems facing the county right now can be traced back to three members of the board of commissioners. Roark, Rose and Perry brought this scourge upon us, and should pay the price for it. If any of the three are so blind and insensitive that they attempt to run for re-election they should be defeated in epic fashion. Writing an ordinance that obviously targets one business is clearly illegal. We already have an asphalt plant that most people never notice. Modern asphalt plants do not smell or put out visible smoke. They are improving every year in reducing the particulate matter in their emissions. One question I and others have is what do the opponents plan on driving on if they were to succeed in blocking all asphalt plants? Watauga is fighting the same battle. Do they want to go back to driving on gravel roads? No, they would not want to do that. Blue-stone can release asbestos and other toxins into the atmosphere. So what is their solution?Surely they have thought this through and have an alternative suggestion. Wise people don't just point out problems, they point out solutions as well. I wonder how proud Roark, Rose and Perry are with their choice of appointed Sheriff?
