1st, you are exactly correct about Williams and training. I'd hate to take a *** whoopen with a rubber bullet gun up my *** instead of handling the call like a true professional. There are two types of calls, 1) calls which are handled without violence. 2) calls which violence can not be avoided!

Training, Yeah thanks for shooting officers in the foot. I'm telling for you to be a repulbican you sure act like Barack Obama. Good boy system and political fishing expedition is exactly what your doing my friend. I think you dont have a clue as to how Law Enforcement works. You are a definite down grade to Sheriff Williams and Bucky Absher and that has a b in it, its not ashner. That shows your intelligent level. You shoot some GOOD OLE BOY with a rubber bullet when he is a quart in moonshine he'll kick the living ****** out of your Officers.

Why is the outsider head of the local Teatard movement who prances around in period clothing selling off exercise equipment?

According to the job description on the county site the only qualification to become a deputy is graduation from high school, then you get an entire year to obtain your certification. Of course as KM said this will be at taxpayer expense.

The bottom line is that the ACSO has always had training! Yes training besides the state mandate of inservice which every employee has to do. There are several documented training blocks which the paper covered over the years. So Terry can stop putting old news in the paper stating how untrained our officers were under Williams. Face it Bufort no matter what you say or do "you'll never be elected sheriff of this county"! LMAO

And keep in mind, this is supposed to be after Bufurt weeded out the dead weight.

Really? Kids are safer playing in on coming traffic than in the "capable hands" of Porky and the gang. Really? A vast majority of the sheriff's dept. is filled with over-aged, over-weight bumblers. This is not a knock on law enforcement officials. This is a knock on THESE law enforcement officials. I've done my duty (for many years) and hung up my boots when it was time. I never fell pray to dunlap disease and was always fit for duty. If this photo is indicative of Ashe's LEOs, I have a feeling the crime rate is about to explode.

We would be better off to take the money wasted on SRO's and use it to teach teachers how to deal with problem students early on before they become threats.

Here you go Pooky. I'm sure you'll have to find someone to read it to you though because it has some multi-syllable words. This just briefly touches on the issues though. I attended a lecture given by the head of the governor's committee on school safety and the head of it went into a lot of detail.

And can anyone help me find what training Clayton went to? After searching, the only thing I can find is through Texas Emergency Management. From Feb 2017 through May 2017, the only 2 day courses they offered were HazMat training and Incident Command. I figured he may have went to the Incident Command but it is primarily for firefighters. Just trying to figure out where my tax dollars are going.

Can someone explain to me how this training is any different than the previous administration? Bufurt is just looking for any reason to be in the paper...and how much did we have to pay for Clayton's vacation to Dallas? I don't think Williams/Absher ever advirtised what training themselves or their employees were receiving because they typically advertised who they were actually arresting and the drugs they were getting out of the county. I find it funny that one of the employees (Grady Price) that quit on Bufurt is part of the training staff helping the current employees.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Why would you want to pose in s manner that makes your agency look bad? You want documentation of training then do your research, the sheriff's office did active shooter training at the courthouse and several of the schools over the past 10 years- just look it up in the paper or ask the school board. Oh that's right, you've **** off the school board so the information might be more difficult to obtain.

No documentation presented so far proves that Buchanon has 34 years of law enforcement experience (which given his age and MOS in the military is impossible).
