Trooper Hit By Car

Most employers that require their employees to drive for their job have clamped down on employees congregating for meal breaks. They have found that those employees waste time driving outside of their territories to meet up, then take longer than allowed breaks. There’s lots of miles of roads in Ashe County that the NCHP are responsible for patrolling, and none of them are inside the Jefferson Town Limits. And all of the Johnny Troopers shouldn’t be taking a break at the same time. Their breaks should be staggered like any private sector employer would require.

Is there a group, other than kids, that hangs out at the Walmart parking lot? I do not think the drug dealers hang out in public there like they used to.

What I found odd is they came down and question all the kids about who, what, and where but you don't hear about them doing the same on any other group of people asking questions

fossil trooper they are salaried not hourly factory workers. They pile up at Hardees 3 and 4 in a pack for hours. They hardly need a break from riding around hiding all day. I would not be out in the road picking up trash without following proper safety procedures. Watch your bossmen smack him down when the dust settles. Now get off your phone and get out there and find the truck.

Jack ***
How would you like for someone to run over you while you where doing your job. They get a evening brake just like everybody else.

I told my kids not to say anything period that they didn't need to get involved.

So the johnny troopers got Roses boys to shake the kids down in the walmart parking lot. Tell the johnny troopers to get out of Hardees and go look for the truck themselves.

Anybody hear anymore about this? My kids told me that two town cops and a state trooper were at WalMart the other night questioning all the kids that were hanging out about who was driving or owned the truck and where their were.

Another trooper responding from Watauga thought it was a good idea to pass a semi in a curve in a no passing zone in a construction site lucky no one was coming the other direction and no workers were in the road.. I heard there was already two other troopers out there why this one felt the need to break the law is beyond me.

I saw some of that today. Wow.....our SO was all over that. Stopping vehicles. Investigating. Looked pretty professional to me. But you know....they are just ....."good ole boys" ...could not be doing their job the right way.
