We need to get this nut off the board......he's essentially saying that the NC taxpayer needs to pay for degrees that have no hope of earning enough money to pay for the degree when the student defaults.

Since bankruptcy is controlled largely on the Federal level need to remove bankruptcy protection for college degrees, just like any other debt secured by an asset if you bankrupt on your student loans then you lose the associated degree. That would do a lot to reign in colleges and people. Need to get rid of some of the frills too.
