Yes. Heritage Auctions is absolutely the best. They sent seven of my pieces to an auction in Saudi. They said they would bring double or triple there, and they were right.

I guarantee that Heritage Auctions are not held at a flea bagmotel. High end firearms they are one of the two took firms, Rock Island being the second. Over the years I have bought from both and sold through one of them. Class III pieces are their specialty

Why'd he buy it in the first place? What a waste. Did he never grow up? I get he has money, but why not put it into an endowment or trust?

Sometimes, it is just time for a change. As a youngster, and up into my 50s, I was very interested in horology. Then one year my homeowners insurance carrier mailed out a form asking about antiques or other valuable collections you had in your home. I started counting, and realised I had over 600 watches. Over 300 of them gold "hunters case" pocket watches. At the time, I also had a class 3 ATF collectors license. I knew that I had a lot of watches, but I was surprised at how many I actually had. I ended up contacting Heritage Auctions in multiple auctions in different cities to sell most of them. I kept 30 that had multiple complications or hand carved cases, but now I am bored with them.
