not sure if y'all can't drive or see or read or what, but the joint is clearly open for business.

I sent an email asking if rumors it was closing were true the other day but I've had no response so far.

I don't think that they have closed. Didn't they just hold a job fair the other day? Anyway, we've stopped eating there since a fellow employee was let go. Seems that the quality of service has diminished but I'm slightly biased. Anyway, the manager is a great person and that's all I have to say.

It’s never wise to eat anything that relies on a 40 watt bulb for heat.

Village Inn Pizza closing would be no great loss to anyone. It would actually be a blessing. I tried it once a couple years ago, and vowed then to never return..And this coming from a truck driver who has ate in some pretty shady places should speak volumes to the general public....

The county has to many pizza places. I've never eaten at Village Inn myself so I can't comment on the quality. I hate to see us lose businesses as that means a loss of jobs, but we simply don't have the population to support the restaurants we have. I mean Shatley Springs would have went out of business years ago if it didn't close for the winter season.
