Oh and don't bother with the papers sine they are only going to tell you what some elites want you to hear.

Somehow I am not surprised by this. Real estate in Ashe County is overpriced now and only the chosen few can afford it. Not a day goes by tat I don't get calls and emails from someone wanting to mae me rich, sell me car insurance for my invisible car, or tell ne I need to update my warranty. The no call list is a joke they go right on. I have often said if we throw the politicians, the land developers, judges, the lawyers, and the real estate agents on a ahip and left them in the middle of the ocean the world would be a vmbetter place. But it would probably wipe out the ocean life. People wirking real estate think that the high prices will continue and they will make a fortune on the backs of others. Everything and commonsense tells me what goes up will come down. I'm glad these people can afford it when the bottom drops out and the fancy house they paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for is worth only half. Should be fun to watch anyway. Wonder how many will take that property and money into whatever is waiting when weleave this world.

Hello

Thank you Research Man. It is terrible how people scam the elderly.
I feel I have a good scam defense since well I am old and I am one of those
"not everyone is that way" people.
I welded the door shut on my even numbered mail box so I get no mail.
I've been lucky so far. No scams

Thanks again for letting us know.

For those who have older friends and relatives in the County - out of state entities are sending out letters attempting to gobble up property for next to nothing. Smart people will not be fooled, but not everyone is that way. Maybe one of you can get the newspaper to run a story.
